Thanks to all of you, our dedicated supporters, who contacted their local Members of Parliament to reiterate the difference that our chaplains are making in the lives of children and young people. Together, we've achieved more chaplains and funding for the chaplaincy program.

• The Labor party announced that they will provide $220m over 3 years to fund chaplains and pastoral carers.

• The Coalition have now announced that they will increase their initial promise of funding from $165m over 3 years to $220m over 4 years to solely fund chaplains.

• Both parties have committed to providing funding for a further 1000 chaplains.

Our voices have been heard. Both major parties have endorsed the importance of the chaplaincy program to our schools, and our chaplains' roles in preventing crises before they arise.

ACCESS ministries' chaplaincy program is safe for at least another three years.

Thank you for joining with ACCESS ministries and campaigning for kids with needs and at risk. Together, we have achieved so much.
