Christian religious education (CRE)
ACCESS ministries would like to invite your child to participate in the CRE program. To assist you in making an informed decision on behalf of your child you can download our Parent Overview and Sample Curriculum.
Our CRE classes enable children to:
- Explore personal values and choices
- Discuss Christian faith and beliefs
- Learn to value and respect all cultures and beliefs
- Discuss life experiences and key events
- Learn how to have positive interactions with others
Our CRE teachers offer a safe environment for all students to discuss openly their values and beliefs. It is an interactive class where CRE teachers value and encourage helpful discussion among class members. We are teaching values for life.
Many students find it also helps them understand biblical references they encounter in everyday life. For instance the nativity story or quotes like ‘a David and Goliath battle’.
Based on Christian beliefs and values, ACCESS ministries curriculum materials are used throughout Australia and New Zealand.
