Director Chaplaincy Services - Nerida Terrill

Offering the combined expertise of the commercial world and the qualifications of a chaplain, Nerida Terrill understands the complexity of sharing the simple message of faith within an organisational infrastructure and culture.

Beginning as a chaplain in 2003, Nerida shows a pastoral concern for the issues faced by chaplains both as individuals and as a wider body. Never losing sight of the individual chaplains and their immediate needs, Nerida also negotiates and builds the necessary infrastructure to enable the chaplaincy program to flourish throughout Victorian schools.

At the core of her role remains her passion for the Victorian children and young people whose lives are nurtured by the work of the ACCESS ministries chaplains. Nerida says,

'I enjoy working in a mission which cares for the well-being of Victorian students, be it physical, educational or spiritual. It is a privilege to be able to be a part of such an amazing organisation.'

Nerida holds a Bachelor of Ministries and completed her Chaplaincy in Education through Whitley College in Melbourne. Her previous role as a Director of Nutri-metics, has been Nerida’s training ground for the organisational expertise that she has implemented over her past years she has served with ACCESS ministries.

When away from her office, Nerida spends her spare time divided between a good book, coffee with friends and walking on the beach. Most importantly, sharing time with family and friends, in Nerida’s words,

'the ones who support me know who they are and how special they are to me'
